Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited (MBL) has operated online web based remittance system, where by money can be sent to Nepal from Worldwide.

1. MBL REMIT

MBL recognizes remittance as a vital component of its consumer banking services and has consistently played a key role in this sector with the support of both domestic and international partners. To meet the evolving needs of its customers, the bank introduced its own remittance service, MBL REMIT.

MBL REMIT is an efficient, real-time online remittance processing system that can be easily accessed through an internet-based application. It enables fast, secure, and convenient money transfers, ensuring a seamless experience for users.

2. Managers’ Cheques (for local payments):

Machhapuchchhre Bank Ltd has been issuing Managers’ Cheques on behalf of its customers and also for the Bank’s own commitments or obligations and for other general purposes involving remittance of funds by bank’s own customers. The validity of these cheques is for six months.

3. Demand Drafts (for payments in India & abroad):

Machhapuchchhre bank Ltd has been issuing demand drafts on the request of the customer. Currently, the Bank has draft drawing arrangements with the following correspondent banks:

SWIFT stands for Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications. Swift is one of the most reliable widely used fastest means of international financial telecommunication.

Funds can be transferred to and from the bank in most of the major currencies through our Correspondent Banks, Financial Institutions in Middle East, Europe and East Asia and also from other Banks.

5. E-Payment:

Electronic mode of Payment through Internet.

This bank has been putting a lot of emphasis on the proper channelizing of funds from different parts of the world to Nepal. MBL has established relations with the following Exchange Houses for this purpose.

Remitter can go to any of these Exchange Houses mentioned above for transferring the funds. Similarly, funds can be received through any of our branch office in Nepal. The beneficiary can get the money on the same day the fund has been remitted and we shall charge nothing for payment of your money to the beneficiary.
