*Charges are free for the first year only. Charges as per Standard Tariff of Charges shall be levied from second year onwards.

Required Documents

  • Machhapuchchhre Bachat Khata - Individual

    ●    Duly filled account opening form
    ●    Citizenship Certificate / Valid Passport and/or any valid identification card issued by the Government of Nepal
    ●    National Identity Card (deferral applicable as per Bank approval)
    ●    Two recent passport-size photographs of the account holder
    ●    Duly filled KYC form along with supporting documents if the account operator is other than the account holder
    ●    In case of nominee inclusion, identification documents of the nominee (Citizenship Certificate / Valid Passport) along with passport-size photograph
    ●    Additional documents and information as required under the Bank’s Procedural Manual, operational guidelines, and NRB directives from time to time

  • Machhapuchchhre Bachat Khata - Institution

    ●    Duly filled Non-Personal Account Opening Form
    ●    Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Article of Association (AOA) / Constitution / Trust Deed (whichever applicable)
    ●    Registration document from the concerned authority
    ●    PAN/VAT registration certificate (where applicable)
    ●    Agreement between the Social Welfare Council and the organization (if available for INGOs)
    ●    Agreement with the Government of Nepal (if available for INGOs)
    ●    Recommendation letter from the concerned country or embassy for INGOs not affiliated with or approved by any official authority of Nepal
    ●    Constitution/Charter of the organization for INGOs
    ●    Personal details of Directors, Trustees, Custodians, Settlors, Chief Executive, Nepal representative authority, and account operators along with proof of address documents
    ●    Latest Audit Report and tax clearance certificate (or supporting documents where applicable)
    ●    Board Resolution authorizing the officials/trustees to open and operate the account and defining their powers in accordance with the organization’s governing rules and constitution
    ●    Citizenship Certificate / Valid Passport and National Identity Card (deferral applicable as per Bank approval) of Board Members, Working Committee Members, and Account Operators
    ●    One recent passport-size photograph of Board Members, Working Committee Members, Account Operators, and related officials
    ●    Duly filled KYC forms along with supporting documents of Board Members, Working Committee Members, and Account Operators
    ●    Additional documents and information as required under the Bank’s Procedural Manual, operational guidelines, and NRB directives from time to time.
