IPO Eligibility Information
● As per Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) provisions, migrant workers are eligible for at least 10% reservation in IPO shares issued by companies
● To be eligible to apply for IPO under the reserved category, NPR 50,000 must be remitted into this account within the last six months
● The account can be opened by Nepalese citizens employed abroad with a valid foreign employment approval (Shram Swikriti)
Self-declaration from the customer confirming that no other remittance account has been opened in any other bank
Duly filled account opening form and KYC form along with identification documents as per Bank policy
Valid Foreign Employment Permit issued by the Government of Nepal, Department of Foreign Employment
Valid Passport and Visa
Two recent passport-size photographs of the account holder
In case of nominee inclusion, identification documents of the nominee (Citizenship Certificate / Valid Passport) along with passport-size photograph
Additional documents and information as required under the Bank’s Procedural Manual, operational guidelines, and NRB directives from time to time
In Case of Family Member of Karmashil Account Holder / Individual with Foreign Employment Permit
● Relationship certificate issued by the Government of Nepal between the remitter and account holder, along with valid employment-related documents of the remitter.
