Mr. Suman Sharma has joined Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited as Chief Executive Officer effective from June 11, 2018. Mr. Sharma is an MBA graduate from Maastricht School of Management, the Netherlands and was awarded “Best Student” by the university and was also awarded Mahendra Bidhya Bhusan, a Gold Medal in 2006 in recognition of his excellent performance at Maastricht School of Management, the Netherlands. He did his Master Degree in Economics from Tribhuvan University and was awarded Mahendra Bidhya Bhusan, a Gold Medal in 1995. Further, he holds Master Degree of Physics from Tribhuvan University. CEO has done couple of research that includes Credit Risk Management Practice of Commercial Banks of Nepal, Income Distribution and Consumption Expenditure Pattern of Small Farmers of Nepal etc.
He is a banking professional having more than 20 years of experience holding key positions at various banks & financial institutions. His core competencies are in Risk Management, Strategic Planning, Credit/Project Management, and many more.
