MBL Student Credit Card

Student credit card is a credit card scheme designed to cater the short-term credit requirement of the students pursuing graduate and post-graduate studies. Also, it is a useful tool for students in further education, helping to cover emergency expenses or pay for online purchases.

Features:

Credit card limit of NPR 10,000/- and NPR 20,000/- for graduate and post-graduate levels respectively
Validity period of 5 years
Low joining fee (of NPR 150/- only), which makes it relatively easy for the students to not just get the credit card but also maintain them
Wide range of payment options:
- Auto debit from MBL account on the payment due date through debit instruction to settle either Total Amount Due (TAD) OR Minimum Amount Due (MAD); if there is feasible amount available
- Mobile Banking applications (M3 and other banks’ mobile banking applications)
- Over the counter payments through MBL branches
- Khalti
- eSewa
- Connect IPS

Eligibility:

Should be a Nepali citizen
Must possess citizenship certificate
Age must be above or equal to 18 years. Should not be blacklisted
Should be a student in recognized college or institutions
Should have a valid student id of college or institutions
Students should be pursuing either graduate or post-graduate i.e. either bachelors or master’s degree
